Gordie Howe International Bridge – Canadian Port of Entry, Ontario

The team at AISG includes professionals with experience in the structural design and construction oversight of major infrastructure projects, including the Canadian Port of Entry (POE) for the Gordie Howe International Bridge between Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan.

This project represents one of the largest land border infrastructure developments in Canada, with the Canadian POE occupying approximately 130 acres and supporting both passenger and commercial border operations. The Canadian Port of Entry includes ten facility buildings associated with border processing, administration, and operational support.

Members of the AISG team have served as the Engineer of Record for the main Canadian Port of Entry buildings and have also provided site engineering services for multiple POE facilities, including structural design coordination and construction review during project delivery. This experience reflects the team’s involvement in the design and implementation of complex, large-scale infrastructure projects.
